Two-person AI video needs two clear identity references
Couple scenes are more demanding than a single-person portrait because the model has to preserve two identities while also creating believable interaction between them.
Use separate references
When possible, upload one clear photo for each person instead of relying on a single group image. Separate references give the model more facial detail and reduce confusion about which features belong to which person.
Avoid nearly identical framing
If both references are extremely cropped or heavily filtered, it can be harder for the model to preserve differences. Natural, well-lit photos with visible facial structure are better.
Describe interaction simply
Ask for one clear interaction: walking side by side, looking at each other, standing together at sunset or sharing a subtle smile. Complex hand interactions and fast movement increase the chance of anatomy problems.
Watch for identity merging
In two-person clips, pay attention to moments when the subjects overlap or cross paths. If faces begin to resemble each other, choose a scene with cleaner spatial separation or stronger references.
Keep the scene coherent
The environment should support the interaction rather than distract from it. Soft background motion, a gentle camera move and one human action are often enough for a convincing short clip.
SupaPic's two-person scene templates clearly request two reference photos before generation so each identity has its own source.
